@Mousa: Okay, now it just looks like you're deliberately riling him up. If you disagree with him, leave him alone.

@Apple: You really aren't helping your case any. Seriously, just take a break from the thread and cool off a little before you get in trouble.

I'm torn on whether I want Spike's dragon instincts to show up again. I thought the whole idea was cool [lol]

Hey AHR, should I stop? I don't like that I'm having fun.

[up]Th Here should be more dragon-y instincts, they were interesting to observe.

[up][up]I think the idea is cool, but it changes the character dynamics so much I'm torn on whether I want to see it explored in depth.

[up]You probably should, given that it really looks like you're trying to agitate him.

@JT I'd like to see it revisited now that he KNOWS what it is. I love Heroic Willpower and trying to resist primal urges and stuff like that

What about Spike controling his giant dragon form like a Super Mode or via Transformation Sequence tongue

An superheroic form activated by greed? You may want to rethink that ever so slightly.

Directed Greed, maybe?

Like something's been stolen, so he goes super-mode to get it and only it back?

Well, that was just painful to read. I hope everyone involved feels a little ashamed of themselves.

I'd like to see Spike's instincts return, yes, but I'm not sure where else they could take the hoarding-urge-gone-amok instinct, anyway. A different drive might be interesting to explore, but I doubt they would, just because the basic plot of 'Spike's hormones cause trouble' has been done now.

[up][up]Better, but seems like something that can only work if it's personal.

Well, what if the thing Spike "wants" is his friends back. Though, yeah that's a massive stretch. tongue

@ Mousa

I know but I think a team with Six magical girl ponies and a giant dragon would be awesome.

@Lurker: His ponies are his hoard, after all.

^I'm not talking about the debate, I'm talking about the thinly-veiled debacle it melted into.

I guess I just really want to see Spike being ale able to resist his urges now. Honestly, he's probably the strongest willed character in tis show

@Fallen Legend, Heck, I'd watch that show.

Wait... That's what I had expected this show to be from the beginning.

Have I technically been duped?

So is Spike going to grow slower and more stable if his greed is kept under control?

[down] Ah I see. OK thanks.

^Yeah, looks like he'll grow naturally and maintain his intelligence if he procures stuff for his hoard at a reasonable pace.

There is an interesting trend that was present in both the more recent Brony Census and the earlier one: that as people get older, they tend to like Rainbow Dash less and Applejack and Rarity more. Of course, the significance of this trend is lessened by the fact that: 1)they're likely using the same sample pool, and 2)I'm not sure the trend is even statistically significant, considering that the age demographic is the very definition of a bell curve. Number two especially applies to the first poll, especially since it tried to quantitatively score how much people like each pony.

I wish the Brony Census also tabulated gender vs best pony, if only to compare with that earlier survey.
