You know what we need?

Evil mirror versions of the elements.

Laughter becomes evil insane laughter used against others, not with others.

Honesty becomes blunt cruelty

Loyalty becomes blind obedience

Kindness becomes Well-Intentioned Extremist

Magic becomes dark magic.

Generosity becomes...hm...dumping everything on everyone else?

I do too, it's no fun having actual counterparts like "meanness" as opposed to kindness. I want to see dark twisted of those elements, even if they fulfill their original definition.

What if the elements became sentient and abandoned the mane cast because they felt like they weren't living up to their individual elements enough (i.e. Rarity wasn't being generous ALL the time)

I could see them joining up with a team who embodied the elements TOO much.

Basically, I kinda want the EOH to become a villain of some kind

I don't think they would be left, but maybe someone else with powerful magic summoned them.

...Trixie would lead them as Twilight's counterpart. Gilda would be involved somehow, probably as the element of laughter.
