@Blue My response: I think RD is ultimately capable of sharing the glory with other ponies when she honestly she feels that it's due. True, she's been showered with glory before, but MMDW was the first time when her and ONLY her was at the centre of all that fame. She didn't have to be concerned with sharing, she could indulge her own ego without fear of feeling guilty

Kegi, I'm not a competitive person first of all and second of all, I had this blog since luis novemberand only have 36. You've existed for under a month with less than a fraction of the posts I have and got 35. The end of that race is a forgone conclusion. My sister has even less posts and has barely updated and has 50.

@Blue Different contexts. Her mind was in different places. Her stress had all but annihilated her ego (and seeing her friend in danger completely snuffed it out for a while) by that point in Sonic Rainboom. Not the case in MMDW.

I've always been of the opinion that stressing RD out is the only way to get her to listen to reason. You need to deflate her ego before she can learn anything

@Ginger: I've always seen her as far more levelheaded and calm than most people give her credit for. The Fanon that she hates dressing up/girly things bugs me too. She got totally into Rarity making a dress for her and had no issue wearing it for the gala. And during the pet competition she set up a little fashion show thing all on her own initiative.
