They go by how much she eats.

It's true that she's no different to the others in Pony! form, but Human! form is up to the artist.

It's kinda hard to justify though...seeing how energetic she is. Then again...acrofatic.

Plus, she really does eat a lot.

@Mage: Someone suggested a long time ago that the Royal Canterlot Voice is her way of showing respect for the traditional order and, inside that ordered framework, respect for her subjects. Nightmare Moon has no such respect for her subjects, and might actually insult them by speaking casually.

I figured it was something like that. Kinda makes the "Pinkie is fat" idea annoying since its based on a simplistic (and scientifically inaccurate) understanding of biology.

Rarity Asian? I always imagined her as being British.

Actually, Twilight Sparkle strikes me as the most "asian" of the ponies.
