It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.

Edit: I think the way the show would do such a thing is...a romance is only hinted at...like Pinkie gets all excited around this pony etc, and they drop little hints that they don't find her completely annoying etc.

And of course...a sleep cute once.

Yet he just seems to up and bite Pinkie at times. Is it out of anger? boredom? instinct? affection? I would say affection but he seems to give absolutely ZERO fucks about ANYTHING going on around him. I don't even know if he comprehends that Pinkie is his owner.

So yeah, I go with my "mentally a toddler" theory
