@Pinkie: Yeah, I'm going to agree that you should just take a break from the internet for a day or two, lay off the booze and just chill a bit. Drinking and posting is never a good idea, especially if you're otherwise worked up.

Anyway, I tend to stay away from the more...questionable and rage-y parts of the fandom, so I haven't seen too much horrible stuff. I'm not a big fan of the "sexualize ALL the things!" attitude that some bronies seem to have, but as long as they don't shove it in front of my face I don't mind that it exists. The only things that really makes me facepalm are the "nasty for the sake of being nasty" Cupcakes style fanfics, and people who try to push joke stuff as canon. I'm fine with Trollestia or Rainbow Dash being a lesbian if it happens in fanfic X, but it gets annoying real quick when they try to claim that it applies to the character in every situation.

As far as the furry thing goes, I can't really call myself one. There aren't really any works I enjoy specifically because of the anthropomorphic elements. I just don't see the appeal. *shrug*

Really, Pinkie, you should sign off. If you start insulting folks on Ponychan and word gets back to them and they decide to do something about it here, you'll get banned.

Like L Mage, I usually follow link from here or check EQD. I sometimes also check Bronibooru or Ponibooru if I feel extra curious.

I get most of my pony intake from here, EQD, Ponibooru (with all the explicit stuff filtered out), and the My Little Brony section of Memebase.

On show days, we'll typically get about 30 new pages, minimum. More if it's an especially polarizing episode. Unless you're refreshing it every five minutes or so you're going to miss most of the reaction. Also note that the reactions are typically a lot stronger in the immediate aftermath; everything tends to cool down a day or two after.

But seriously, pretty much any episode has potential to cause drama. Going by the description, I wouldn't have pegged MMDW as an episode that would cause a great amount of debate. Granted, I don't think this one will either, but it's always a possibility.

I don't think I've actually been here for an episode before. I usually watch the episode, enjoy it without thinking about it, and then come on here and start analyzing a few hours later. But now that I've cleaned out my DVR and have more free time, I might join in the discussion.

Given that I can't watch new episodes in realtime, I just generally come by to see what the general timbre of the response is before it's uploaded on Youtube and I can watch it myself.

...I'll have to find a new way to watch...

I stay the hell away from here until I can actually watch the show, so I end up missing a lot of the fun.
