Exactly why I had to write it. The mental image was too funny to bear. How else would they clear the way for their cops?

My fic has a constable...
"Over a Barrel" had a sheriff.
Oh, wow, new chapter's at 2000 words. Just needs a joke to end on.

Bleh, writer's toothpick is all broken now. Last one, too. Aww.
Oh well.
I'll clean up the idea into an actual series, I think, eventually. I have mental images of Beat and Donut, but the Chief's probably going to change. And a few other ideas that may come out good....
But I may go pass out now...

The devil? Wha? No, I just collect cellophane-wrapped toothpicks that I chew on when I'm writing.... And I managed to chew to bits the last one in that. It was starting to splinter....
I hate gum, but I chew on just about everything else. Up to and including can tabs.

I see i'm not the only one whose muse struck at a totally random hour. I couldn't sleep and I suddenly had an idea for a fic.
here it is. It's a first draft, unpolished and written when I was in danger of nodding off to sleep, so a lot of the ideas could be expanded on, but I hope you enjoy it.
And as you'll probably notice from the story, I love Applejack.

I swear my muse is Luna. I'm a rampant insomniac because I get all my writing ideas and random creativity at night or half asleep. I remember once I was dead-tired and caffeinated at the same time.... I'm weird to begin with, but my friends thought I was drunk.... And apparently that was the best writing I've ever done in class...
Not to mention the dreams I have....

Okay, finished new chapter.
Not submitting it to ff.net or ED yet. Might need a few changes. Joke at the end might not be good enough, didn't address aforementioned "cannibalism" concern.

Is there actually any crime in Ponyville? I doubt it, but I suppose there's probably some in Manehattan.

Are you counting those dogs? If so then kidnapping, and slavery are crimes we've seen.
Because "for the lulz" is a perfectly good reason to do something.

@Moe
That was cute, although the Batpony parts were almost too narmy for me, even given your overall intention with it. Rainbow Dash's hallucinations were pretty entertaining, though and for some reason, I think that grabbed my attention more than Applejack's antics. One little continuity error: with the cat part, you stated the call for help was from a filly, then after the cat was given back to a boy.

wait until the swarm of Mexican ( and the rest of Latin America) bronies arises, when this show gets dubbed, we might get even more.
No swarm yet, but I'm building my Mexican brony cell thanks to DA MAGICS of the internet, heh heh, and something tells me I'm not the only one.
