New Year isn't very unusual. This might be a good thing.

Not when it's a character who I've been playing as for 3 games and who's defining characteristic so far has been WINGING it in court. Phoenix doesn't come up with elaborate plans, he just makes shit up as he goes, and I never felt that he could do otherwise

Besides with glaring eceptions like Celestia, I don't like GOOD guys being Magnificent Bastards.

I like Vetinari just for that though. It all depends on the character in question, I say.

I just don't like it. VILLAINS should be the ones outsmarting people (or at least should have the capacity to outsmart them)

The only times I can stand Magnificent Bastard heroes is when the villain they're up against is JUST as magnificent as they are (take the new Sherlock Holmes film)

Can someone provide me with a link for this Phoenix Wright thing I've been hearing about? I'm starting to get curious.

Guys, even If I'm not looking for ponies, they come looking for me. I found this vid from a person who's videos I like, whink are normally pokemon vids.

It does make me wonder just how big a fanbase we are. Considering the Yogscast are doing a pony version of their main series, I would say quite big...

@ Ginger: Well Magnificent Phoenix is up against a villain who is just as much a Magnificent Bastard as him. Nick's not outsmarting him by much.

and again, it just feels OOC for him considering what he was like in the previous games.

I like the song, but right now I'm listening to various Phoenix Wright music, originals and remixed.

I realy need to get around to playing more of the games. I borrowed the first or second game, and own the third. I don't have any of the Apollo games...

Well a lot of what he does is off screen until You play as him for a segment in the final case. Most of what Apollo does is on his own merits he only receives bare bones guidance from Phoenix. He gets more help from Trucy than Phoenix.

And it is 8 years later (IIRC), so I figure that's time for character development. Plus unlike the trials where he has a day to prepare at best, he's been working this for years.

I have a playlist dedicated solely to Phoenix Wright Music. It's more than a 100 tracks long.

Well there's only been one Apollo Justice game so far. Then there was the Miles Edgeworth Ace Attorney Investigations (Still wish it was called Perfect Prosecutor). And I think the sequel to Investigations is coming out soon.

I'm one of those assholes who thinks that Edgeworth is a painfully overated character, (MANFRED VON KARMA FTW) and all the things I DO like about him will become ruined if I ever have to actually play as him. XD

So, there's a MLP/PW game in the works, a fanfic and a Video series? Wow, this fandom likes this Crossover idea. I don't even need to search to guess there is fanart too. (read: too lazy)
