Yup, this ep is gonna be pride based.

And yes, you can have to much Rainbow Dash. I still don't think Scoots is that annoying though. In fact I find her LESS annoying than RD (and I don't get annoyed by RD all that often either)

Huh, I don't mind RD. Mostly because she seems ultimately harmless. to me:

Arrogance + Incompetence = Funny/Meh

Man, that's really interesting and one of the biggest things I disagree with the majority with, apparently.

Dashie really doesn't annoy me at all, none of the Mane 6 do. For me, all of them are necessary parts of a well-oiled machine and nothing has happened yet that made me permanently lose sympathy for any of them, or even temporarily.

Now, Snips and Snails, on the other hand, those are definitely characters who really piss me off, and they're the only ones in the entire show so far who do.

Also, Rarity. Just like one reviewer on YouTube I saw, before I watched my first episode, I was SO FRIGGIN prepared to hate Rarity, I had expected her to embody every part of the super-girly, snobbish, Libbyesque, fashion-and-boys stereotype I so despise.

Well, luckily that didn't come to pass, she enchanted me pretty much from the first episode on and never stopped.

What would be REALLY ironic? If Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon made friends with Twist only for her candy making skills at first but then eventually Twist becomes their Morality Pet. XD

: I didn't really start to appreciate Rarity until that scene with Steven Magnet. When she took that scale, I was like HOLY SHIT!!! and then I was WHAT THE CRAP?!? and then OH DAMN!!

I kind of want that to happen now.

You know what is something I always found interesting. Lauren said that she is essentially her fanon interpretation of her favorite G1 pony Firefly. I just find it kind of hilarious that she saw her favorite pony, as a borderline Jerk Jock with ego issues.

It's not what she does, but how she does it. Yes, we appreciate what she does, but that doesn't maker her not a bitch. It just makes her a helpful bitch. Still well worth disliking, for all the good she does.
