I've kind of developed a crush on Warm-and-kind!Pinkie. But I find random/funny Pinkie awesome too. Most of the time. Luna Eclipsed... no. I think Pinkie is best Pony and even I can't excuse her behavior in that episode.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that I actually liked Pinkie in Secret Of My Excess.

Her in the birthday party scene was adorable, and I'm always intrigued whenever Pinkie gets angry, so the entire scene at Sugarcube Corner is great (especially AJ helping out Shellshocked!Pinkie)

Yes, I am getting the help I need from my closest friends. Emotional support, at least. I need to move out of my mom's house, but several conditions are making it pretty near impossible to move out. And I still haven't heard back from the university I go to about being re-admitted. Apparently if you take a semester off you have to re-apply.

As far as the quality of the show goes, I try not to think about it too hard. Not to say that analysis is bad (hey, so far I've written about 60+ pages of review material for season 2), but you just have to remember that nothing is perfect, and that just because something has flaws doesn't mean that it's not still entertaining. I also try to keep Bellasarios Maxim in mind. I mean, you really can't be too hard on flaws like a lack of hard continuity in character development when it's specifically noted by the people who made it that they were instructed to make the episodes viewable in any order. I think the show as a whole is a lot better if you take it on an episode-by-episode basis. It just wasn't written with cumulative viewing in mind. Yeah, there are interconnections, but it's meant to be watched by people who probably have either not seen the other episodes, or don't really remember all the developments.
