I didn't see the work in question, so I can't comment on any of that.

My whole point is that doing something of questionable worth and merit on your own recognizance is one thing - you simply sat down and did it. It's all you.

Then, you get paid to do something of questionable worth and merit. It's not you. Yet, it is. You agreed to lower your standards for some money (assumming your standards were higher than that to begin with).

Let's say I offer Mousa five bucks to draw something that I know he objects to. He says no. I then offer five hundred. He reconsiders, and does the work.

All we're haggling over now is his price.

In my opinion, there is nothing inherently wrong with doing things for the money.

Provided that such things aren't illegal, I can agree with that.

Fair enough, pvt. I guess I always just saw pornographic elements as another part of the free market. There is definitely an audience for it.

well for a start there was no straight nudity in the picture. It's a fin line, but at least she didn't cross that one.

It's also drawn, so at least there weren't actual little girls involved. Even within the realm there's still much, much worse.

On the same level or slightly below, maybe, but not worse.
