I'm bouncing back and forth betwee my cumputer and helping with prepare for our christmas eve party. Nothing really that diffrent from last year.

Yeah, I'm not big on grimdark fics either, no matter how well written they are. One of the reasons I like the show is because it shows you can have quality entertainment and good conflicts without having to be cynical. The other thing is that I view pretty much all fanwork as basically extra bonus content of the show itself, so the closer it nails the original tone, the more I like it. The Sugar Bowl aspect of Equestria is so dominant that I really don't have much interest in stuff that discards it because it just doesn't feel like the show any more.

I've got nothing against the genre (I read Berserk, for crying out loud), or against people who write or enjoy MLP Dark Fic, but I have never felt like I have any reason to read it.

I read Fallout Equestria in a week. My concept of short is a little different than most other peoples'.

I know a good short fanfic I think is called 'Ponys discover /co/'. (I can't remeber exactly the name) that I would recomend. It plays out as a normal ep, but with the ponys knowing what /co/ does. I woul link it, but i'm on a mobile right now.

Anyone have a screen cap to that effect?

You see Celestia has some what the hell hero moments. Said moments caused the whole Trollestia meme to spring up.

I know it's been linked before, but I love this comic

That story was pretty nice, though blatant Trollestia at the end ruined it somewhat for me.
