No, I wouldn't want the competition angle. I would want a teamwork scenario or two, though, and play up their differencces for comedic effect...

The Mane Six have the Elements of harmony. The Other Six do not. The Mane Six will always get the spotlight; our guys will always be working behind the scenes in the shadows. It can work like that.

I don't think that will happen intentionally. I like to think that this whole team luna came up with was partially Celestia's idea. For one, Luna needs something to do since she came back to Equestria. And two Celestia is hoping that this team will help her fell better connected to her subjects.

Supernova.

They all saw it, long ago, and had a sudden flash of mental clarity as to what they were, thus, got their Cutie mark.

And Luna somehow hears about them telling their story about it... somehow.... and says to herself:

"It would seem that not all forsook the spendour of Our night, even when We were in exile."

..although a shooting star works, too. I just like supernovas. They make Nebulas. Oh wait, I'm getting their CM epoisode mixed up with what draws them into a group again.

What if the all heard the "Mare In The Moon" story and all sort of sided with Luna or at least sympathized with her, in the same that many pepole side with and sympahtize with Lilth in the Adam and Eve story?

They're all outcasts...and they did wrong too. This is as much as a story of Redemption for them as it is for Luna.

^^ Yes. That works nicely. Twilight would probbly point that out.

Perhaps, though, they were early converts after her return, shedding the thousand years of fear rather quickly. They're amongst the first to love and worship Her, rather than fear Her. Remember, that's a sticky point with her in "Luna Eclipsed".

Is anyone plugging this crap down, or are we still in haggle mode?

^ Okay, now we need to introduce the Failure that the Other Six have done. What guilt do they hide? What dark past thing do they wish to rectify?

Shortly after Check Up suffered his animal attack.

Leads Chuckles to the Order of Mimes.

Inspires Pig Iron to Craft rather than revise for his upcoming exam.

I'll get it down after we have a concrete consensus.
