Arrrrgghh!! We're spoiling it for the new guy!

The show has been pretty good about continuity so far... once we get further along we might get more tank with another Dash episode. But it would be nice to see him in a non-dash episode. Like to just see Dash playing with him in one scene, or something. I wonder how she does play with him. Maybe they just hang out, talk and stuff.

Btw, I had this funny thought, of Big Rig rambling away to Chuckles...who's politely letting him get on with it with a big goofy smile, but then he has to leave the cafe table they're sitting at for a moment to hear Fowl! Twi out.

When chuckles comes back three minutes later, not only is BR still talking, he has not even noticed him missing at all. And he finishes by going do ya get me eh?...and chuckles just does his trademark fast nod.

I like to think Chuck and BR get on well because BR likes someone who listens to him, and Chuck likes someone who can do all the talking for him.

Wikipedia says nosiree. It also says that Baby Cakes does indeed focus around The Cake's toddlers, but it may have been someone amending it improperly, so who knows.

Can I just say again how amazingly excited for that I am? I adore the cakes, and knowing they have foals is just great for me. I don't even know why, I just know that I'd always wanted them to have kids. This is amazing. Seriously, I will be so happy when that episode airs. I just hope I don't pump it up for myself too much and suffer from self-inflicted hype backlash.

Is there any way of knowing who writes an episode before it airs? I hope the episode gets a good pinkie writer, like Merriweather Williams. Polsky is alright at writing Pinkie too, actually - he writes her less zany and more just excitable, which I like. Nothing bother me more than a 'quirky' character.

Is anyone else sad that the pony meme machine seems to have pretty much died off?

With a name like "Baby Cakes", I'm seriously wondering where the idea that the foals in question aren't the Cakes' came from at all.

As for the pet thing, Winona and Owliscious weren't seen since their debut episodes until May The Best Pet Win. I expect it will be a while before Tank makes a reappearance, if ever.

Well, the synopsis posted on Equestria Daily just said, "Pinkie looks after Cake's twin Toddlers". Not the Cake's, just Cake's.

Megan Mc Carthy might be a good writer for it too. She did Party of One, which has probably my favorite Pinkie, since she's much more human... er, pony. But it's one of the only times she has real depth in the series, even if Megan is the most likely to use her as a tool before a character. She also wrote Green Isn't Your Colour, meaning she actually contradicted herself when she wrote Pinkie's approach to secret keeping. Maybe even when Pinkie is her tool she writes her as more nuanced? I think she may just be my favorite writer in general, since she's got most of my favorite episodes on her list.

Why's that, Ginger? I thought Pinkie was pretty okay in FPK. She was alright in OAB too, even if she was a tad too... persistent about the song.
