Oh, here we go.

Just going to toss this out here now, and then will avoid any further flames

1. The problem in the episode is Twilight's attitude: rather than caring about finding out what's going on, she cared only about proving her assumptions. Religious or not, this is a terrible approach.

2. The lesson is more "they're your friends, they have experience with Pinkie Sense, so you can trust them when they say it works rather than actively attacking it", and "you can't always explain everything", both of which are not objectionable.

3. Faith and reason are not mutually exclusive. I think both atheist and religious people who claim that religious faith involves willingly disregarding evidence are uninformed, and that it is entirely possible to be both religious and perfectly reasonable. Since this is the closest thing I have to a Berserk Button, I'm not going to discuss the issue further.

Also, this is a My Little Pony thread. I'd rather not turn this into any sort of religious argument.

It's not going to be that much, Story. Like I said, topics that do come back just seem more prevalent even when they aren't that common. And I don't think we've ever talked directly about Ginger - just about his certain little issues with the show that keep coming back up. those ones we talk about a lot, I'll admit.

I was kind of disappointed to the MTBPW ending, since giving Tank a helicopter seemed like such a copout. I'm still rooting for the bat.

@Applelight, when you say he speaks at a slow pace, do you mean sort of lackadaisically, or more in terms of measuring his speech? The way you put it, I'm imagining the former.

Where was Twilight's teleportation skill from episode 3? Dose she not have it yet?

I loved that part of the contraption TS set up to moniter Pinkie Sense was the helmet thing that Doc weares in Back to the Future when Marty comes to see him in the past.

Rarity and Rainbowdash where not in this episode at all, meh to RD as she can just do whatever and I wont reall care, but I would have liked to see more Rarity.

Princess Clestia at the end....that was just epic.

I love TS's face after asking herself "What would Rainbowdash do?"

Honestly, it disappears for most of Season 1. It comes back in Season 2 though.

Twilight is only allowed to use teleportation in episodes numbered 2, 3, or 4.

Twilight is generally pretty terrible at thinking on her feet, so she probably just forgot about the teleportation. I know if I was attacked by a hydra I wouldn't be thinking clearly.

Teleportation doesn't return until episode 2 of season 2. Hopefully it stays throughout this season too...

As to "the message" of the episode....I think it is ultamietly that no matter what you your self may belive, you shouldn't invalidate other pepoles belife, there is marite to evrey understanding or idea.

Btw, I had this funny thought, of Big Rig rambling away to Chuckles...who's politely letting him get on with it with a big goofy smile, but then he has to leave the cafe table they're sitting at for a moment to hear Fowl! Twi out. When he comes back three minutes later, not only is BR still talking, he has not evem noticed him missing at all. And he goes do ya get me eh?...and chuckles just does his trademark fast nod.
