OK, I'm trying to do a Moonbase Alpha parody of Pinkie's Cupcakes Song. This is what I have so far.

All you have to do is take a cup of moon rocks,
Add it to the mix.
Now just take a little something sweet, not sour,
A bit of Mark! just a pinch.

Baking these treats is such a cinch,
Add a teaspoon of John Madden,
Add a little more, and you count to 9
And you never get your fill of...

I think an ep about her overprotectiveness of Applebloom would be pretty cool.

Like she goes into Knight Templar Big Sister mode and eventually learns that while being protective of the ones you love is often warranted, being OVERLY protective of them will just serve to push them further and further away from you more often than not

There's a ton of stuff AJ can do.

For example, how about AJ keeps getting conned by some Con Artist...and her stubborness won't let her back down it. Her friends help her win honestly.

What kind of situation would cause that? Despite all the dangerous things the CMC do she seems to be just fine with her participating in their antics.

I don't think AJ has ever been particularly tactless. That's more RD's thing.

That is also true. Still it would have to be quite a dozy to get her protectiveness going, if only because she seems to assume that Ponyville is safe for Applebloom.

Interestingly it's only the more recent episodes that have made me think that.
