Hosting downloadable versions of all the episodes.

I think the main problem might be that they've hosted the iTunes versions; they can get away with Youtube rips, but ripping stuff from a source that charges for it might be an issue.

So, reading Giving Love A Helping Hoof. It's pretty funny and fun to read, but the premise gives me the willies. No matter how you spin it, ending up in a romantic relationship with a gender-swapped version of yourself is not a good idea. It will, by definition, end up being a relationship that reinforces any bad habits and thought patterns you are prone to.

I don't think it's that bad. Is it the ultimate expression of incest? Why yes it is but it's consensual and that makes it ok.

Also new episode is quite epic. I loved how boss adult Spike will become, alas his love between himself and Rarity will never last forever.

Not only was it sick and creepy, but it was Rarity and Elusive! The amount of narcissism going o made the entire section almost unbearable. People say Trixie should marry a mirror but they hadn't a clue of Rarity's dark side.

The Hate had been Doubled in other words.

It's not so much the incest as it's probably not a good idea to be in a relationship with someone whose personality is so much like yours (and in the case of these fics, exactly like yours). The flaws get reinforced, as Mousa said, without a healthy counterbalance.

Also it might just be me, but isn't it actually harder to like someone who is exactly like you, or at least who shares your flaws?

And now that I think about it, the premise of the story is pure Accidental Nightmare Fuel. Ponies who were created solely to be the love interest of the main six? They don't have any choice in the matter of their deepest feelings? It's similar to the reasons why I really, really hate Haruhi.

I was going to point out that I would absolutely hate anyone I met who was just like me, but didn't because it might just be a case of lingering self-loathing.
