That's pretty much how I imagined them working in wars. Just assemble a line of them, and have them start singing. It'd create a wall of noise that could keep the enemy away and allow you to prepare your counter attack

I imagine the Sound barrier couldn't be a permanent defensive measure. For one you'd start deafening your own forces after a while

EDIT: Ninja'd. The thing with Spike's reaction to Twilight's Rarity-style mane, it's evident that his reaction is simply because Twilight resembles Rarity more; i.e. his attraction to Rarity is what prompted it. I'm sure he'd love to see Rarity try out other mane styles.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that all the ponies would be considered "adult"; Twilight is still a student, yeah, but she's living self-sufficiently and pursuing studies on her own, which implies that she's continuing her education after the standard pony education would have been completed. So to put it in human terms, she'd be working on her Masters degree or something. Similarly, Rainbow Dash dropped out of flight school, but that doesn't necessarily imply that she dropped out recently or that she would still be in flight school if she hadn't dropped out. It's sort of life a guy dropped out of college because he got a chance to work somewhere; RD probably got offered a job doing the weather and figured she'd rather do that than mess around at school when she's a competent flier already.

@Ginger: I wasn't referring to you specifically, just the general flood of "SPIKEXRARITY CONFIRMED" reactions. This episode obviously doesn't oppose the pairing; if anything it supports it. But it's in no way confirming a relationship. It basically boiled down to what Rich said; the point of the scene is that Rarity is telling Spike "I know how you feel about me, and it's okay."

In a more serious setting, the wall o' sound might melt the skin off your hide.

In my fanon, it would just send you, and everything in close proximity to you like tables and chairs, market stalls, carts etc flying. And every window would be put out!

Well, here's a thought. Could they create different effects by changing the pitch? Like a high-pitched scream, being much faster, would be capable of piercing and cutting, whereas a lower-pitched scream would be more like a wall. Or maybe high-pitched is concentrated and with a long range, whereas low-pitched is short range, but with a much wider area of effect. Soprano snipers and Bass Artillerymen.

A battle choir basicly? That sounds awesome! Yeah I could agree to that!

I like that first idea. High pitched singing would basically create a storm of RAZOR wind.

I loved it too. It was catchy, and it give us Beretity.

I liked all the songs so far.

And I suspect RCV can make people's heads explode, if done long enough.

I'd love to think that RCV is an EP power. Honestly, if they have that, along with strength and endurance, that levels the playing feild nicely.
