They'd ride in chariots and be flown over the enemy by pegasi. Belting out "Ride of the Valkyries" down at their foes and causing wind storms amongst their ranks. Not to mention demoralizing them

These guys could have stopped Giant! Spike when was climbing the mountain, their singing would have caused an avalanche.

What do you think, Apple: Are they ground based? Or would they ride in pegasi drawn carriages?

Tbh, seeing as they are drawing strength from the earth, I think their hooves would have to on the ground. Maybe the chariot rifers could be unicorn archers?

If they were in chariots they wouldn't be braced and so once they began their war song the chariot would have to go flying in the opposite direction. For every action there must be an equal and opposite reaction.

Because it's a great idea to use open sources of fire while living in a flammable building full of incredibly flammable stuff.

I didn't figure that they NEEDED to keep their hooves on the ground. I thought their voice was just an extension of the "Earth Ponies can strengthen any physical trait they have" thing?

On the ground they'd work great as a flanking force. Get behind the enemy and blast them with a wall of sound. Disorienting them and forcing them to advance into your allies' attacks.

Or as a temporary barrier to keep the enemy from advancing forward.

The reason I suggested them being aerial based is because it'd allow them to basically ANNIHILATE the enemy from above with wind storms (from different directions)

Nobrony comented about vet pony? Most asumed that Flutershy had that role, and here we have specialisated pony for that. Horever she must be new in town, that explain why she never saw a dragon and why she wasn't even mentioned in Bird in the Hoof.

Also she have nice voice, same VA as Spike/Mayor.

It seems to be implied that she's from a more tropical (or at least rougher) place.

She can diagnose SNAKES quicker than she can diagnose DOGS!
