We're talkin' anime preferences now? I suppose Fluttershy would be a fan of Hamtaro. Rainbow Dash would be a DBZ and Gurren Lagaan sorts. Shockingly enough, I think AJ might appreciate the values of GaoGaiGar. Twi is definitely an FMA girl, might even appreciate Digimon Tamers.

I barely watch Anime and only dubs so I never have any idea what anyone is talking about. Like Yugioh nobody ever uses the dub names.

^^Definitely. She'd also probably be very fond of Sora No Woto.

^Like any other suit of armor, it just has to be articulated in the same way as the joints of the creature wearing it.

Pinkie would like a comedy series... she might like Lucky Star actually, just because of how much it jumps. A new gag every few minutes, perfect for her. Rarity would prefer a romance series, of course.

Do you think any of them might end up going looking for stranger stuff? If any of them I'd bet Twi would go looking for some underground Sci Fi anime. There was one I watched a while ago that she would really like - I can't for the like of me remember the name, but it had a lot to do with time travel and alternate dimensions; the main fighting character was an older version of the protagonists best friend with biological implants to give him these sort of razor whip weapons. It had really great animation for the fights, but it was too slow between them for me.

Ooh, you know what Twi would really like? Death Note. Very intellectual, in a way.

@Ginger: I can imagine Twilight getting hooked and wanting to see the end. Rarity would stick around for the Sayaka subplot, AJ would not be amused by Kyouko, and Fluttershy would only stick around because she felt bad for the meguca.

Pinkie would get ideas for her next party's theme.

I wonder how Twilight would feel about Welcome to the NHK.

Summer Wars has something for all of the ponies.

I dunno... the idea of killing for a cause probably makes sense in an intellectual way, but I doubt she'd be gripped by the supposed moral dilemma.

Rarity would LOVE Clannad. But holy SHIT would she be in tears at the end.

And now that I think about it, I think One Piece is enough of a laugh filled emotional rollercoaster for Pinkie
