After I saw ponyficated American Gothic painting I started to imagine pony version of that show intro.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

I read Shugo Chara!, Ouran High School Host Club, and Azumanga Daioh, that's girly, right? And I suppose I can admit I also watched Kim Possible and Totally Spies!.

When I was 10 I watched a show called As Told By Ginger. I guess that counts.

Also I read books that were kind of girly or at least had female protagonists. I guess I just connected more with them? This was throughout middle school. (and I guess started when I was 10 too)

Eep. I have never told ANYPONY this.

I remember LOVING Totally Spies! when I was younger. Does it hold up?

I'm not sure if it holds up, probably not

And G Inger, Ouran is run in a girls magazine, aimed explicitly at girls, and parodies aspects Of shojo manga and it's a reverse harem of pretty boys. I think that counts.

I'm aware of As Told By Ginger but I couldn't watch due to being overseas at the time and YouTube hadn't. Even invented.

Really Death? It had 3 hot girls in skin-tight outfits getting tied up and hugging on a regular basis. What's not to like?

I can't think offhand of a lot of really girly stuff I've liked, but I know there must have been some. There was certainly Totally Spies! and Kim Possible... but I don't know. I'm a 90's kid, and it doesn't leap out at me there was a whole lot of 'girl cartoons' out back when I what were a lad.

I get the feeling the entire mane six would like Azumanga Daioh. Dashie would like Bamboo Blade, and Twilight would like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Dashie always struck me as more of a Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann pony to me. Pinkie would also probably like that one. And Twilight would LOVE Fullmetal Alchemist.
