Now there are some social networking sites for MLP, such as FlankBook. There are some city groups (Boston, Vancouver, etc.), so might be a good way to meet some bronies in your neighborhood.
Now I'm sure that Flutershy was Doctor Whoof companion. Both fragment with her in Winter Wrap Up and At The Gala supporting this.
And with romantic suptext.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

Hey, Pannic, your Ritardando fic is up on ED!
Is it sad that the first question I asked was "since when does Encyclopedia Dramatica accept fanfiction"?
Though speaking of fanfics, I'm now seeing if I can do my RPG idea as something similar to a light novel—swift descriptions, improper language and told mostly from a first-person perspective (Spike's, if you wanna know).
EDIT: Incidentally, best bad caption yet
It's funny that ED is still so prominent with quite a different meaning for some tropers.

It is.
Aaaaand apparently people thing I'm some sort of creepy Ayn Rand fan.
What the fuck?

I'm a bit unenlightened. Who's Ayn Rand and what's so bad about them?
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...

She was a terrible author who wrote books extolling the virtues of free-market capitalism by way of rape-happy Mary Sues and outlandishly flimsy strawmen.

I can't really defend against criticisms that the characters are underdeveloped or that there doesn't seem to be any direction to the plot.
But really, Ayn Rand? I was shocked. I hate Ayn Rand.

Wasn't it just Gold Standard that was a capitalist? That's hardly a reason!

I know. Granted, the person who posted the story started the introduction with the word "CAPITALISM!"
But that's really just a joke... there is also that line in the second chapter about the difference between a proprietorship and a corporation, but again - that's a joke. And me saying "look at me! I took an accounting course!"
One of the comments also said something about "not getting English humor." You know, I can understand people thinking I'm British in real life, but how to people somehow think that over the internet?

Yeah, but the people on Equestria Daily don't know that. And I don't even know what a morning coat is.
It's kinda disappointing - that fairy tale that I crapped out over a couple of hours gets better comments than this story I've been working on for weeks.
Also, got another comment - a great deal more helpful. Person seems to think that Phoenix is the most well-defined character. Surprising, and a little disappointing, because I was hoping to write female characters, and, well, Phoenix is a dude.
Person has a good point about Kite - she's completely one-note and I have no idea how to fix that.

Kite likes kites. That's all I got so far. What do kites convey? To me they convey a sense of freedom or whimsey. What does that reflect in the character? Does she enjoy those brief moments of whimsey on a base level, or is it something deeper? Is Kite content with being herself, or does she want to be the kite? Does she want to be as aloof and carefree as a kite on the wind? Does she simply want to fly, or is that simply a symptom of a deeper desire?

Don't see how anyone could read that fic and draw the conclusion that you were or were not an Ayn Rand reader.... how many people actually brought that up?

Also, thanks. I think I have an idea of what I can do with Kite.

Pinkie Pie’s Journal. Smashed cupcake on the road this morning, pony-shoe print on crushed sprinkles. This ville is afraid of me. I have seen its long face. The celebrations are extended parties and the parties are full of uneaten pastries and when the cakes finally mold over, everypony will whine. The accumulated bulk of all their popped-balloons and undrunk punch will foam up about their manes and all the friends and princesses will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll play...

I'm attempting to write a fanfic, but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't find it a bit odd to be writing a serious story about technicolor cartoon ponies. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, I'm not ashamed to admit it, and editing videos about it is easy for me, but writing some of the terms and character names down in a totally deadly serious manner does feel a bit awkward.
