Pinkie being friends with Twist? I could see that, especially if Twist starts bringing her candy canes (was it implied that she had invented them?) to Sugarcube Corner for special peppermint-flavored baked goods!

Pinkie and Twist could make a good team. And yeah, Gilda could be RD's Cherliee.

I was considering Angel, but he's more like Fluttershy's Lancer.

Twilight Sparkle waited. The lights above her blinked and sparked out of the air. There were parasprites in the base. She didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. Her warnings to Princess Celestia were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
Twilight was the Element of Magic for fourteen years. When she was young she watched the pegasus-pulled chariots and he said to dad "I want to be on the chariots daddy."
Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY PARASPRITES"
There was a time when she believed him. Then as she got oldered she stopped. But now in the cloud station base of the UAC she knew there were parasprites. "This is Celestia" the radio crackered. "You must fight the parasprites!"
So Twilight gotted her palsma spell and blew up the wall.
"SHE GOING TO KILL US" said the parasprites
"I will shoot at her" said the parasprite and he fired the rocket missiles.
Twilight plasmaed at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
"No! I must kill the parasprites" she shouted
The radio said "No, Twilight. You are the parasprites"
And then Twilight was Nightmare Moon.

See...I've always been interested in the idea of a Sea Pony 'Terrestial Biologist'...who lives in a lake near Ponyville and uses a magical reverse scuba suit to come up onto the land to study surface animals.

Absolutely. I'm coming up empty trying to think of a canon Cheerilee for Fluttershy. I thought of the CM Cs, but none of them seem to fit, either.

"Just try to hug me again, Luna. I'm ready for you this time. Oh, yes..."

Does fluttershy even need a Cheerilee though? She seems perfectly happy with her animals. Being a loner is kind of her shtick

Scoots would seem to be the closest thing to RD's Cheerilee. There's some fanon involved in that, sure, but things seem pretty finished between her and Gilda. That I absolutely cannot see.

As for Fluttershy...Derpy/Ditzy, maybe?

How about Snails? I'm thinking that he might be interested in animals or at least some animals due to his Cutie Mark so maybe he could apprentice under Fluttershy.

Also for Pinkie how about Bon Bon? Similar reasons to Twist and closer in age.

I allways belived that unicorns like Lyra or Romana/Colgate are friends with Twilight , not only they tried to be friends with her but go to Ponyville after her.

Yeah, Ginger has a point. Fluttershy has all her animal friends to fill the role. Still, if you have an idea for a fanon character, I say "Run with it."
