40K is the only kind of grimdark I like mixed with ponies. The contrast between the grimdarkiest grimdark ever and its complete antithesis is just too awesome to pass up.

By the way, I realize that's a couple pages too late, but I haven't played Pokemon since the Gold/Silver/Crystal days so...I'm not really up to speed on it.

On the topic of ponies being Pokemon trainers, the perfect Pokemon for Pinkie would be the Clefairy line. It's not only pink, but it can use things like Metronome.

Ya know how much Mare Do Well resembles Darkwing Duck, right? (Hell, there was even a Nega Mare in the drawfriend post in EQD after the episode aired)

Just thought... If Dash took the costume for herself, she'd actually be closer to how Darkwing acted, what with her catchphrasing ("I am the terror that flaps in the night!") and ego so large the sky is the only place large enough to hold it.

Oh, and on another note...

We all know AJ is pretty damn strong and Twilight's magic is HAX caliber.

But Pinkie being a ninja has mostly been a joke on her non-sencical ability to appear in improbable (and impossible) places. Then the construction site falling apart? That was Pinkie, showing how to really use Pinkie Sense in a competent way. While doing barrel acrobatics.

And a third note: How did the accident rates increase a hundred times for the few days that episode took place for?

True there was the part with Dash trying too hard and being told off about it, and Dash was the one who messed with the dam, causing it to break. But anyhow, suddenly every cart, carriage and whatever decides to go out of control and breakdown for the week?

Hey, there's some good grimdark out there. Fallout Equestria is just about the best thing ever. And, uh, that's about all I've read. But there's probably some other good stuff somewhere.

Fallout Equestria, that thing is HUGE, last word count had it clocking in at longer then Lord of the Rings, and it's still going.

Yeah it's pretty damn grim-dark since it's set in the Fallout universe, but still a great series

I've been tossing around this idea that what Pinkie Sense really does is turn Pinkie Pie into a jinx temporarily, causing a rash of accidents rather than predicting them, and this episode fits into that pretty well. I also had the idea that Pinkie Sense only works when Pinkie remembers it, and what would remind Pinkie better than becoming a superhero and pondering what superpowers she can use?

Oh god I wish people would stop going on about FE. It's like the concept of "I don't like grimdark" is completely lost on you people

Plus, when do you expect me to read something that big, anyway?
