@Mousa: Yes, I read it. On paper, it sounded like the bestest thing ever, but I quickly gave up on it... I think I'm too spoiled by the awesomeness of DM of the Rings that I can't enjoy this one. Compared to its big inspiration, there's just... a lot missing, the episodes are too short and there's just not as much material to work with as there was with Lot R.

The Mane 6 vs. the Light Warriors would be just about the most hilarious thing ever. I can just imagine Black Mage trying to stab them and failing horribly just due to dumb luck.

Yeah, I don't think they could take on a Marine.

Though making stats for Diamond Dogs, Hydras etc could give them something to fight.

And I love the idea of Peeler going around town with Chips and Gravy, lamenting all the hazards in the town, and vowing to do something about it.

@Apple It's not that.

It's the fact that 40k is pretty much the paragon of Grim dark. I don't wannit mixed with my ponies

Poor Peeler, is he so low on the food chain that he can't even get a railing set up next to that hill?

I was thinking that I would use the 40k system to make a game set in Equestria with their family friendly violence...anyone 'killed' is just too incapacitated to fight.
