From battle stems rivalries. From rivalries stems respect. From respect stems friendship.

...And friendship is the greatest magic of all.

So character who I heard little.

But thank. Now I know.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

[up][up]Awesome, but it'd make more sense if Scootaloo was Simon instead.

For some stupid reason I thought you meant Simon Belmont. Then I went back and read the posts (Hmmm... now I'd like to see Luna as Dracula).

By the way:

Five things that Headscratchers me about MLP:FIM

1. That I don't know anyone who is exactly like Pinkie Pie, reality-warping and all.

2. That convincing the government to build a statue of Princess Celestia on top of the White House probably won't be met with much enthusiasm.

3. That Twilight gets to live in a library. I'm jealous.

4. That this show makes me wish I had a pony, except that real ponies aren't cute and don't actually have interesting personalities.

5. That in twenty years, people will be holding it up as an example of how "low" our standards were while they praise something that is debatably much worse (possibly a new incarnation of Strawberry Shortcake), and anyone who says it still holds up will be guilty of "blinded by nostalgia."

re: number 5, who says they're example will be worse than ours? Our pony is better than 80's pony (by general consensus), so who says 2041 pony won't be super fantastic by todays standards?

Headscratcher 5 was more "in twenty years nobody will remember this show" and less about "OMG tomorrow's cartoons are gunna suck!"

(though considering FIM is the first good cartoon to come along in fifteen years, I don't really have high hopes for the future of animation).

Progress, Chapter 3.

Sundance has obviously never heard of Tempting Fate.
You wouldn't care what people thought about you if you knew how seldom they did.

Might there be more Season 2 episodes than we think?

Basically, the number floating about is 24, but Daniel Ingram's website lists 26. (He's the composer) Mayhaps there are 2 episodes that aren't being outsourced?

I just hope to see Luna in a plot-important role in a future episode.
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...

It's pretty idealistic, but I don't see it as a problem. It is targeted at little kids, after all.

I'm thinking it might explain how Luna became Nightmare Moon.

I think they already told that story.

To wit: she got pissed off and it just kinda happened.

I must admit I like this show. However, it's far too idealistic. Am I the only one who has that problem with it?

Considering that 98% of American TV is self-righteous whiny cynical crap, I consider this a nice change of pace.

It was more a "Jealousy Makes You Evil" scenario. She was mad that the ponies were all asleep at night and didn't enjoy it like they did the day. I'd probably be kind of miffed too.

She turned into Nightmare Moon before getting sealed in the moon.

Also, I agree with the notion that a show that's devoid of cynicism is something of a breath of fresh air.
