There were a few photographers who were taking pictures of RD. They all had marks related to filming except for one, which has a dollar sign for some reason

I was just the initial shock of seeing it. The thing made me go GAHHHHH

Twi gets a keytar, RD takes the lead guitar, Pinkie gets the funky instrument with pipes everywhere, AJ does the drums, Rarity takes the electric violin, and Fluttershy takes the Electric Harp.

Meanwhile, the animators drop another AJ/Dashie shiptease with a kiss like pose captured on camera early on when Dashie "immortalizes" AJ.

BLLLAAAHHHH I return. Hopefully I'll finally be able to watch the episode tonight. Looks like reception has been mixed, but most of the episodes so far have been pretty good, so it's not surprising if it really is a step down. That, and initial reactions tend to be horrendously overblown; it'll probably even out once the fandom stews on it for a while. Review will probably be pushed back a few days due to other stuff I have to prioritize.

Okay, finally watched the episode. It was okay, although there are a few issues with it, mainly how Rainbow Dash is acts more jerkish than she really needed to for the story to work, and while I can understand the motivation of the other ponies, it just seems really bizarre that they would come up with that sort of solution. It wasn't bad per se, but I think it's one of the weaker episodes thus far. I'll watch it again tomorrow when I'm not totally exhausted in case I missed anything.
