So does Tealove buy her scones/biscuits etc from Sugar Cube Corner or make them herself. I imagine she buys them.

By sticking their faces right into the cup. Earth Ponies don't care, they can have resistance to heat.

^^We haven't seen any earth ponies drink anything yet, but I figure they either hold the cups in their hooves (both hooves; we've seen that being used for pretty delicate maneuvers before) or drink from the set-down cups until there's little enough left that they can tip them back with their mouths.

Call of Cutie. Twilight and AJ drinked some punch, and both holded it in their mouths.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

For some reason I can picture Tealove renting out a special apparatus (that you strap to your back or head) that allows E Ps and Pegasi to control mechanical pincers that can hold the teacups properly.

and yes, she would only use this device for drinking tea

Are there Leash laws in Ponyvill? I can't recall seeing any of the pets wearing a leash ever and given Peeler's by the book nature that could be amusing more so if Spike somehow fell under the law.
