By the way, do you think Gilda is good at radicalness? Maybe that's part of what attracted them.

I'm pretty sure Rarity is the fuss over make up type which works perfectly for my sensibilities because I hate make up. I mean, isn't she wearing fake lashes?

[up][up][up] That's how I see it as well.

Rarity is heavily done up (in a tasteful way, not a generic Reality TV show about low life nobodies way), and FS is just...as she is.

And both work.

Yeah Rarity uses make up (sonic rainbow) and her eyelashes aren't natural.

Eh, our tastes are different, I can deal with that. I have a odd liking for chiptunes, and find them strangely comforting. Must be my fond nostalgia for the 8-bit handhelds.

No Strings Attached is pretty sweet mind.

I just want variety! It's not just your tastes, all geeks do the exact same thing! I want a ska remix? Why not a jazz cover? I hate country music and I would take one just to know geeks aren't so uniform and robotic!

But mostly ska... I mean really, does no one like horns anymore?

[down]Oh Good, someone elsewho doesn't seem to have a burning hate for humanizations. I dare you neighsayers to hold onto your feelings when you get a load of John Jesco's work. DAT RAINITY.

@Kyler: Scott Darren is either a bishie, or a girl with parents who don't understand that Scott is a boy's name.

On humanisations: Some are very nice. Plus, apparently, even some of the people who work on the show do them. I don't see it as missing the point. If it was, ponifications would be just as bad. It's about the fact that it's their personalities that appeal to us rather than simply the fact that they're ponies.
Clock is ticking!

Well, I do enjoy all sorts of music, although I just like anything that sounds good to me, so I'm not that genre-centric. Mind, I'm kind of a techno/rock/metal kind of guy, since I used to play a whole lot of Sonic and Megaman and all the rockin' beats tend to be pretty unforgettable. (If you insist I call a genre of choice, I pick Danmaku genre because ZUN music sounds good no matter whether it's done traditional Japanese, Traditional Chinese, techno, ska, jazz, metal, vocal, bubblegum, full orchestral, or just plain old FM synth.)

But enough talk about our tastes, have another pony video. This time some poor guy just can't get away from Pinkie Pie.

In Equestria tech-related news, unicorn-codified "magic" aka spellcasting lays the foundations for magitek programming, given that they probably have some kind of programming language for more complex spells.

@ takashi. 0, Ska is awesome. For more information look up our local Reel Big Fish and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones pages becuase they are awesome.

@Ace, I'm not genre-centric either, If you looked at my MP3 player you'd be asking what are Peter Paul and Mary doing next to the guy who makes power rangers music.

And obviously i have no qualms about humanization and I don't see why people have such a problem with it. I like drawing humanizations because it has a level of challenge of character interpretation. What clothes would they wear, what race would they be, jewelery? bags? Glasses? Such wonderful character building thoughts.

Update regarding Tealove—after a bunch of searching, I managed to find out what the back of her card says about her (in other words, the only official characterization she has):

Tealove loves cozy chats!

She IS the perfect mascot for a forum thread surprised I'll toss in my vote for her, if anyone's still counting.

[up][up][up]To be honest I don't know either. I came up with a vest, a disco ball belt and jean shorts for one outfit and a wavy dress fora another. I don't think you can predict Pinkie's clothing.

Or rather you can but she'd look like a hipster or a hobo.

It's what happens when the artist throws as many notes as possible into a single musical phrase. Or, it's a piece that's nigh-impossible to play.

It's music you can literally graze :V Well, you could graze the music if the sheet music and tabs were expressed as a spellcard. (There IS such an XML extension called BML, or Bullet Markup Language, the literal programming language for defining danmaku barrage.)

Oh, wait, I actually read your post now. Is ZUN's music really a genre in itself, or does it follow an existent genre?
