Hey, remember that filly from the play in Rarity's flashback during "The Cutie Mark Chronicles" who was suspected to be Cheerilee? Well, I finally found an image of that filly with her eyes open (on the left side of the picture on the chalkboard). She's wearing the same costume as in the play, and her eyes the same color as Cheerilee's, so it looks like she really is Cheerilee as a filly!

Also, a welcome to the herd to Owlman!

[up][up]That's good point.

Well pony body hair is wierd like that.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

Ponies in general are weird.

Wither their soft hooves that turn hard and their hyper alloy combat chassis-like endurant bodies and their squishy bodies that could be crushed by mere doors and magically appearing and disappearing bandages and saddlebags other conflictions and inconsistencies of being a giggling magic cartoon.

[up][up][up][up]I assumed it was more than a single feather trapped under there. At least some of the wing itself must have been stuck.

[up]When are their hooves ever shown as being soft?

Y'know, everyone keeps saying: "RD should've just pulled out the feather that was trapped" but really, what if Pegasus feathers CAN'T come out?
It's a cartoon, after all. I prefer to think of it as the cartoon abstraction of getting the fleshy part of the wing pinned by a rock rather than just the tip of a feather.

Probably analogous to getting your hand trapped under a boulder, as opposed to your hair getting stuck somewhere (assuming your hair is long enough for that). Of course, you could probably just cut your hand off, but I imagine that would hurt.
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...

[up][up] Rarity's prune in the water

[up] I know, but a lot of people extrapolate that it was a single feather, so I was just running with that possibility [lol]

When they can do things like pet animals and such?

Not like super soft, but human skin soft?

And yes, pruney hooves. PRUNEY. HOOVES.

Plus squishy/bendy/something enough to wrap around and hold things, apparently.

The sounds they make are also inconsistant.

Most of the time they produce a distinct "clop" sound when striking each other, but sometimes it sounds like a slap.

Would a pony feel tougher than a normal horse? Or would they be more cuddle-friendly?

Humanized Rainity was inevitable

They certainly look more cuddly. I'm going to say they are, because they're fictional and I can think whatever the hell I want. Also, they're smaller, so that helps.

wild mass guessPonies are made of a special jelly like substance that changes it's density (thus affecting the hardness and softness) according to pony mood. Thus they can go from marshmallow to Nintendium half a second flat.wild mass guess

[up] I can certainly subscribe to that theory. AJ seems soft, but I bet she can get pretty hard when she wants to (wow, that came out wrong)

This is all forgetting the apparent magnetism of their hooves. [lol]

If pegusus feathers can't be pulled out then that would suck epically for the pegusus as it means that if they ever damage their feathers, they're stuck with them and can't fly well anymore.

Also, YouTube provides another name. And this review provides some more.
Clock is ticking!

But feathers do grow back, don't they? Even if her primary flight pinions get damaged, at the most she'll need to wait for a few days/weeks/months, right?

one thing I like about the gorge scene is that, apparently RD has frizzy hair, right? Well after she goes through the wind tunnel, it becomes even MORE frizzy, and RD was somehow able to comb it back ino it's original stage of frizziness [lol]

weird thing to focus on, but it always makes me smile

Ah, nothing better than sitting down with a nice mug of tea to discuss ponies.

So, let us cast our votes. The masked mare. New character? Or returning character?

Some birds take up to five years to fully replace a set of feathers, while others moult several times per year. Clipping the feathers of parrots and parakeets usually lasts a few months to a year, but it takes much longer for eagles and other birds.

No idea on how that impacts pegasi, though.

Dash flying in circles for five years might make a funny (or tragic) story.

I approve of these naming shenanigans.

Except maybe for "Scott Darren" looking suspiciously like a female bunny.

I guess they would get jealous of each other.

Pity about the falcon. If only he had thought to look back...

What is the difference between awesomeness, coolness, style and radicalness?

@The littlest pet: So Hasbro has out-japaned the japanese by releasing Maromi expies first? That's surprisingly dark. I like it.

[up][up] Weird, I asked the EXACT same question [lol]

By RD's standards:

Coolness is how impressive you SOUND.

Awesome is how impressive your body is

Radicalness is how impressive your external talents are

I'm judging that based on the contests she had them perform

Awesomeness: The ability to pull off really impressive semmingly-impossible stunts.

Coolness: Good looks

Style: Elegance, in a way

Radicalness: ...you lost me. Perhaps retro/timeless appeal?
