"That episode was conceived of and written almost a year ago."
So this season was written before Brony thing even started.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
Oh! Oh! there's also Granny Smith (but I get the feeling she'd show up in Big Mac's segment if anything)

I support the idea of a Big Mac episode. I guess it would revolve around the fact that he seems to be so calm all the time, and him eventually losing it. Or something.
"it would teach children that if their granny or grandad is dead, they come into play with 1/1 counters."
I hope Big Mac starts getting some actual dialogue soon. I don't need him to start giving soliloquies or anything, but in season one he'd have a line or two if the situation called for it. Now he's leaning a little heavily on the eeyups. If he doesn't get a bad ass one liner at some point I will be disappointed.
NO, NOT THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!
"it would teach children that if their granny or grandad is dead, they come into play with 1/1 counters."
It's like a game! If you ask Big Mac a question that requires more than a one word response, you lose.
