Nah, the real reason the Wonderbolts haven't shown interest in her yet is because they found out she dropped out of flight school.

The Wonderbolts require at least a normal Flight School education before you can join.

Nah, I think she left. I doubt she even had the strength to fly back to Cloudsdale.

Adding onto my "Fluttershy came from a rich family" theory, maybe she never came back because she thought her parents would get mad? This could lead to a nice episode where she reunites with them, and they've been worried this whole time.

I don't think Fluttershy had any desire to return to Cloudsdale, especially after she got her cutie mark by bonding so well with the ground-level creatures.

I don't really buy this. Surely, they must know that their daughter was (briefly) a famous fashion model?

Then again, Hasbro isn't much for continuity.

After abandoning hope their daughter was alive, Flutterparents recognize her, and go to Ponyville to see her. She hides from them because she thinks they're mad, but in the end they reconcile.

I hate that Big Macintosh isn't speaking in complete sentences now and I was glad to see Zecora be important again.

Actually, no, I don't like the episode idea I just made. Too much of an overused misunderstanding plot. Do over.

Fluttershy's parents meet her, and she's glad to see them. However, they have trouble getting used to the fact that their daughter lives with animals and such.

I'm not sure that Fluttershy could one-up Rainbow Dash like that. Yeah, Fluttershy has been shown to be a competent flier, but that's only when the situation calls for it. I really doubt she'd be able to pull off that level of skill without a "my friends are in danger!" type reason.

I think that's the problem. He used to actually talk on occasion, but now it's looking like he might be Flanderized.

Personally I think it's a little early to be sure, but with the way things have gone so far, I wouldn't be surprised.

It might be neat if the mare-do-well turned out to be another one-episode antagonist. The new season needs new one-shot favourites, after all.

And about Big Mac: They had to hire his VA again, so surely to goodness they must have something for him to do.
