He takes place in highly choreographed aerial displays. I don't think a stupid person could do that. I swear he acts completely different on the job than he does in casual mode.

No, I mean he's a bit slow on the uptake. "So, you don't want me to do the third maneuver?" And after a stressful show, I can imagine he justs sits in his recliner, turns on "Equestria's Got Talent", and gorges on pie.
Rainbow Dash mentioned the Buccaneer Blast in one episode. While we never see it, it apparently generates an eletrical shockwave. Any ideas on what exactly it is?

Still hoping we get an episode where RD gets to try out for/train with the Wonderbolts, and ends up almost ruining it by showboating, till she finally learns that it's not all personal skill, but the ability to fly as a team with that skill that it takes to be a Wonderbolt.

She seems too nice to do that. Maybe another Wonderbolt though. Have we named any of the other Wonderbolts? I know there's fanon Misty, and someone pointed out that one looked like Surprise.
I can imagine Spitfire acting VERY cold when she needs to be (especially if the unity of her team is in any way threatened)
Hm. I can't really, but everyone has their own headcanon.
Both, Spitfire does the curb stomping after RD screws something up by being a show off near the beginning, then RD goes into a pony freak out about losing her shot at the Wonderbolts, till she figures out just why they were mad at her.

You know I'd still think RD would be to nervous to really get showoffy at a Wonderbolt's tryout.

They're supposed to be the pony Blue Angels, but think.
1. They wear costumes.
2. They're elite athletes.
3. Everyone loves them.
All they need now is fighting skills and some villains.

They've never really been depicted as anything more than an elite stun flying team, that's the big reason why I don't by the mysterious mare being a Wonderbolt (especially if its to test RD).

They'd have to be pretty athletic, and RD isn't exactly an unknown. Maybe they have a long process for weeding out new applicants, and they've only just gotten to her entry?
