Could give Rainbow some character development by stepping up and supporting Scoots. Come on writing team, dare to put some pathos in here.

And that would be interesting to explore. Perhaps a foil in that she throws parties because she does it for herself while ignoring others, and or out of thinking it's what ponies want. Whereas Pinkie does it beause it genuinely cheers her friends up.
