Like she easily matches most of the moderate quality plushies floating around the fandom. The price tag? Just US$25. Go for it.

Donations are only good if they're for a worthy cause. People who do stuff like paying to Build a statue of Robocop for no real reason could probably have chosen more important things to donate money towards.

No never heard of it. I guess I only appear about the good kickstarters.

Ultimately it just depends on what your donating on. But still there are people who just come up with the most stupid things for people to donate and then have them eat up that shit like they were pigs in their dens. That's what annoys me about idiotic kickstarters in my opinion. Not to say there aren't any Kickstarter projects for good cases, I'm just saying that some Kickstarter projects are best left alone in terms of how it's done.

@Storyyeller Pony Island or The Island of Esquestria as it's called was basically a Kickstarter project that involved getting an island not a made up island on a website, no nononono, a REAL island in the middle of the ocean. I wish I was kidding on that one, essentially once the people who started this project got the island they were going to have plans to recreate the whole of Esquestria that's including Ponyville and Canterlot on the ENTIRE ISLAND. No really that's the whole project right there....just god help me....

@ NES: Have you already designed the OC, or have you yet to do so? If not, I find zoi's pony creator to be useful for designing, particularly color selection.

Considering that she's very much a Trolling Creator, I don't really put much weight into what the showrunners tweet about.

Reminds me of the libertarian idiots who tried to create their own island back in the 70s.

Usually their jokes are more obvious then this.

In fact I would hardly call any of the joking that they've done actual trolling.

@Mio The project fortunately ceased to be and they only made a 1/10000th of their goal which was a whopping $500, 000 to get the island and then make it look like Esquestria. Personally I'm glad I'm with you guys for a change. And even if they had so much as a fraction of the sum they'd receive then it would be completely impossible to make it possible either way.

I'll take it at face value. Hopefully it means a good amount of character development for Dashy.

@Wryte: Got the character design handled already, as well as name. (I think I have got to get away from the Punny Name deal.)

In any case, I'll be sure to post the result, even if it turns out to be the victim of Sturgeon's Law.

Or maybe something of substance with Dash and her parents.
