Always loved Rugrats from the start. It's still one of the best cartoons ever made in my opinion. And had enough adult humour and Nightmare Fuel to be enjoyable for an older audience.

As for Kablam! I'm still saddened that show never got the love it deserved. If Shout Factory made a dvd with all the lost episodes, I'd die of happy.

Satyr :3

Maybe it'd because of the Satyros from Radiant Historia, but I don't mind the satyr fanarts :D

Kablam was freaking hilarious, I almost choked laughing at some of the Prometheus and Bob shorts. But yeah, most of my childhood intake was WB stuff; Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky And The Brain, Freakazoid, and that group.

As Told By Ginger was the first show that I wasn't sure I should enjoy watching.

And every 90's kid's first anime: Digimon, Pokemon, DBZ, basically anything Toonami put on XD
I was born a year too early to be a 90's kid, technically. tongue

My first anime were Eto Rangers, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Voltes V. Then Digimon and Samurai X came later.

[up][up]Well, I was technically born in the 80's but it was the early 90's when I was old enough to actually remember what I was doing.

If we are talking nostalgia in terms of cartoons I've got the list here: Ed Edd N Eddy, Billy and Mandy, Kids Next Door, Dexter's Lab, Xiaolin Showdown, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, The Mask Animated Series, Hey Arnold, Rugarts, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons and many more.

I can still remember those awesome themes. Duck Tales, woooooohooo!, Two Tone Army from Kablam which was awesome enough to use a sca soundtrack, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, the Rocket Power theme, Go go Power Rangers! the list goes on and on.

@Star: I watched Xaiolin Showdown, Dexters Laboratory, and Rugrats. Didn't have cable though, so that was only when I was at someone else's house.

Recess is another show where I only saw the movie. When I first heard about the show, I assumed it was a spinoff.

Let's see... I watched pretty much everything on Cartoon Network, as well as things like Recess. Oh yeah, and I was a big fan of some stuff on Kids WB, like Pokémon, Yu Gi Oh and Xiaolin Showdown.
I have no hat and I must scream.

By comparison, the movie's OK. The show itself is great.

And I was just old enough to figure out As Told by Ginger wen it came on. Was the first show to make a Yuri Fan as well.

As Told By Ginger was the first show that I wasn't sure I should enjoy watching.

What I liked about it is that it had multiple plot threads going concurrently. As a kid, that was pretty impressive.

I wonder what kind of show we'd get if an anime studio decided to pick up G4 instead of Lauren Faust.

I guess that would depend on which studio.

Studio Shaft?

In that case we'd get a tooth-rottingly cute show with gorgeous art and even less plot than we now have. And cranking the Slice Of Life episodes up to eleven.

I wouldn't mind the minds behind Precure getting their mitts on pony, or perhaps Gainax. Or better still, get Hayao Miyazaki to become such a pony fan he comes out of retirement (again) to strike a deal with Hasbro to make Ghibli-tier pony anime.

That is also an excellent idea.

You clearly don't watch precure then :P Seriously the series are much better than the generic magical girl stuff, even if the estrogen rating is over 9000. Also the precure fights can get BRUTAL.

A Studio SHAFT version of ponies would be quite the experience...

Then again, they are the people responsible for Puella Magi Madoka Magica, so it's kinda up in the air.
