The only thing I don't like about Decoming Popular is the Jane Doe line. Everytime I listen to the song, it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Bullet fits into the song a lot better though. Jane Doe is not only not pony-like, it's also just a strange phrase in general (must have been reaching for a rhyme there). Plus it's in the refrain of the song, so it's really noticeable.

It's used for any generic, nameless female. it's just those tend to be the type that are more likely to be unidentified. Works fine for me, she's simply saying she's not some faceless, unknown pony that nopony notices or knows about.

Having some tea with Twilight sounds wonderful. The other ponies most likely to have tea with someone are Rarity, who mostly likes fashion and stuff I don't really care for, and Fluttershy, who would just take little sips and look around nervously most of the time.
An absolutely horrible person. Really.

AJ would probably have a glass of apple juice, before which she'd take the time to squeeze it herself, of course.
It's been said before, but man could that mare use a vacation. It would be funny if Big Mac and the others tell her one day that she's worked too hard and needs to take a day off. Cue everypony trying to find her something fun to do and failing epicly and AJ going crazy trying to turn something into a chore.

Yeah. One reason why I have a fondness for season 1 is that the characters weren't quite so rounded yet and were more obviously flawed.
