That's pretty much what I wanted from our next villain. Once you've reached Discord's level of power, there's nowhere you can really go but back

Now, as ridiculous as that sounds, It WOULD make a whole lot of sense if something like that happened.

and it'd provide the CMC with a great What the Hell, Hero? moment when they realize that they've shunned someone who could've been an amazing friend.

She could be Nightmare...Candy.

And she'll be redeemed when somepony finally is friends with her. Not the CMC though.

and you just know that Evil!Twist would lose the lisp!

I don't remember her part in this episode all that well, but did all of the CMC or just Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle look angry at Twist?

Either way I agree that a Twist and CMC episode would be good.

I wonder what the pope would look like if they ponified him.

I think I pitched this before but, here goes nothing;

1. Villian shows up with a plan that must be stopped, like the clockpunk pony is building a machine that spells disaster, weither they mean it to or not. Mane 6 stop it, but incure wrath of villain who vows revenge.

2. Later episode. Ponyville Mayoral election comes around...everyone thinks that the Mayor is going to win, but that villian shows up, seeking election. They plan to enact laws to screw the mane 6 over. Wows crowds using cheap, dirty tactics and gimics. Mane Cast rally around mayor, help her win. Villian retreats.

3. Villian gets in contact with past villians (like trixie, gilda, blueblood etc). Takes mane 6 head on for big showdown.

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon can redeem Twist.

That suggestion of Twist as a villain has me thinking about a villain specifically for the crusaders. It could be like The Zeppo, where the main cast spends the whole episode fighting Discord off screen or something leaving the crusaders to deal with some other threat.

I got an idea for a season opener:

Pony beauty contest. All the mane six enter. Rarity of course pushes hardest to win and seems to almost succeed... but then in a surprising last-minute turnabout, it turns out Applejack won by a single vote! Her outfit/makeover/whatever is so stunning it inspires fanart for the rest of the season, and the crowd goes wild!

The hate levels are at max there. Twist should just cut her losses and be friends with somepony else like Pipsqueak he's new in town ergo no friends he'll be easy.

Applejack? I think you mean Rainbow Dash (she always dresses in style).

I can imagine Twist singing a Hellfire-esque Sanity Slippage Villain Song about wanting at least ONE friend, no matter the cost.

The candy pony can be the villain.

I can imagine the Candy Pony acting as some kind of Evil conscience for her (as in she hears it talking to her due to insanity)

"All you have to do, Twist, is make Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle hate Applebloom. Then she'll have to be your friend again."

I just realised that this would pretty much make Twist a Psycho Ex-Girlfriend.

Candy Pony should have Keith David's voice, even if a girl pony.

Twist makes friends with Trixie. We will call the pairing "Twix"!

I'm not quite sure how this situation would resolve itself.

Although I can imagine Twist encasing the mane cast, her classmates, and the CMC in rock hard candy House of Wax style.
