@Bluespade So really Brotherhood is like Dragonball Kai only there's more episodes or is it a completely different show? Anyways I've come back from reading at a look around the shopping centre and had a pizza with pepperoni and chicken toppings. And also I've got something to show you guys but you'll have to wait while I upload it onto photo bucket.

"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus Prime
The first anime is a completely different show in the end due to it having
Overtook the Manga, Brotherhood is different from that because it follows the manga to the end. DBZK is just the show being streamlined to prevent so many filler episodes.

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.
I would totally become a lich if it was Fluttershy offering.
You begin to suspect that your bowl is a portal to the Meat Dimension.
Mass murder? Of course, Fluttershy!
@Star: They both start the same way the manga did, but the first anime overtook the manga and started making stuff up about halfway through. The second one mostly followed the manga the whole way through its run.
So when do they start making shit up in the original anime then? Later on or quite early on in the show?
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus Prime
(wakes up from tranquil sleep) Hi everypony! What's up?
@Marcen Don't you ever give up, cue ball? What's it gonna be today, you dancing on the moon, or you smashing through yet ANOTHER window?
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus Prime
Actually, I'm a bit stable. Finally got more than 2 hours of sleep. A bit loopy for the last couple of days. So, what's up?
Well, whether it's closer to the manga or not.. I really don't see that mattering at all in which is better. It should be which is the better story on it's own.
It is, though. Or at least the manga is. Anyway.

Roughly around the point where the brothers begin breaking into the "abandoned" laboratory. What they find in there is different. Though, there are some early scenes one-shot stories in the first anime that aren't in the manga. Like Psiren.
I have a message from another time...
Anybody else questioning the picture?
So it basically boils down to if you like the original or not and personally I think I'll stick with the original series and whether or not it's following the original manga at the end of the day I just want to be entertained and I would be lying if I said it wasn't doing it's job. I'm actually liking what I see so far so I think I'm good for now.
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus Prime
Let's just say that both series have their good points.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.
@Ace: Flour is hilarious.
@The Librarian Yeah I think that's a good way to describe them and I think we'll just say it depends on which series you like and we'll just leave it at that. Anyways I've got a pic I've got on my
I Pod touch which I got while I was in reading but again you lot will have to wait a bit though.

But what I'm wondering is, if it only diverged later on, is watching the first few episodes worhtwhile?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
