So what would you recommend watching if you're new to FMA?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Brotherhood. The pacing is more in-line with what is to be expected of the series, and the plot (for the most part) is thought out very well.
Reading the manga.
Or watching Brotherhood.
Or watching the first anime, then Brotherhood.
Just make sure you get Brotherhood or the manga in there somewhere. The story gets going to some great places.
I have a message from another time...
I'd just read the manga, personally. It's the only media that avoids the pacing issues.
Would watching the first few episodes of the first anime be a good idea?

"The pacing in volume 10 was pretty rushed. I should have read it slower."
You begin to suspect that your bowl is a portal to the Meat Dimension.
It sounds like the opposite of
Death Note, where I've heard that the manga has massive pacing issues towards the end.

You guys mentioned Fullmetal Alchemist earlier, seeing as I'm gonna watch episode 9 later on do you think I should continue watching it or stop and just drop it in favour of Brotherhood?
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus Prime
Thanks! Of course, what I put on dA is less than a tenth of the photos I took on most of those trips. :P
@ginger-Not porn of him (thank GOD!), but some porn star wearing bridemaid dress spreading her leg. While being top/bottomless.

Well, try to have a good day regardless.
