I might be inclined to try out another fan fic for this show but please no recs for Cupcakes there's so many gruesome things in the world I don't wanna read about and that's one of them. But all the same if you have some good fanfics for me to read regarding this show then let me know cuz I really did enjoy Princess Celestia gets mugged. Seriously funniest fan fic I've read so far.

I got recommended Hard Reset and Cadence in A Minor by a guy I met a Otakon. I've been meaning to check the former out for a while. Dunno about the other though...

@Comics: ...yeah I think it's no question that I'm looking forward to the Celestia micro series. It's the only one I've had any interest in reading.

It's fairly well-written, the plot is good, it has the best characterization of Twi I've seen from a first-pony perspective, and it has some interesting exploration of many time travel tropes. It's also very funny when it needs to be.

apparently, Brotherhood was more accurate to the manga than the original anime.

The manga is great, first anime is okay, haven't seen Brotherhood.

Yeah, since they figured everyone had already seen the first version of FMA, they rushed through all the details up to the point the original anime diverged from the manga. So while the back half is much better than the original, the beginning isn't.
