My aunt is 5 even. My Uncle is 6 foot 4.

Not exactly twice as large, but the point stands. It's possible. Logistically awkward no doubt, but possible.

Still, just imagine snuggling down into that size of plumage afterwords. King Sized bed indeed.

Probably not. The show seems uninterested in ever expanding on the existence of Griffons. Which is a shame.

Still waiting on my Dash/Gilda reconciliation episode. If they can redeem Discord why not her?

I don't think height is the crucial size difference here.

That's my idea too TB. Just imagine what they could do as a team up. It could even play with the ideas of friendship if they grow to like each other in a villainous sort of way After all, they both have great excuses to go after Dashy..

I'm hearing a lot of fear with Twilight becoming a princess....can someone explain to me why? Is it because it's changing what was never broken? Or is it because it just comes out of nowhere? I just gotta know before I finish the hole in the roof.

^ A little of both, I think. Also that her becoming a princess seems to demand abandoning Ponyville as the show's primary setting, since she would presumably have more important duties than being a small town librarian.

@ marcen: Some people don't like change.

I disagree with the "coming out of nowhere" part, though. I found it apparent from fairly early on that Twilight is being groomed to become Celestia's eventual successor.

I was always excited about the prospect. The actual execution of her ascension episode left a lot to be desired, but I'm looking forward to see how it plays out in Season 4.
