Oh Starscream... not everyone here has a pony avatar. I mean, look at Kyler Thatch on occasion, as well as Bluespade and... admittedly, myself on a rare occasion.

In all seriousness, Rarity would go for grand and magnificent, with lots of wide open spaces and scenic views.

RD would create more of a heavily fortified (sky) barracks. And recruitment policy would be strict. Nobody accepted into their ranks until they run a gauntlet of tests. Including the Test of Heart.

Dashie would have a major Air Force bent to her fort, with airstrips for takeoff on top and only one small easily defended door at ground level.

Fluttershy's would be encased in a massive thorny vine-coat, teeming with wildlife.

AJ's would be like a massive fortified barn. The top would be good for planting apple trees.

Pinkie's would have solid bedrock foundations, with party cannons bristling from it like some kind of party Ork weapon.

Twi's would be a traditional Canterlot-style minicastle, only more heavily reinforced with forcefield crystal emitters and a massive library basement.

Rarity's would be stylish, yet difficult to approach because of the style involved. Also all the mannequins would be rigged to show you out if needed.

Just glanced over the Pre FIM thread and to be honest I'll stick with just FIM, the girlyness of the past shows in the franchise pretty go to such extremes that I swear I'm gonna hurl, My Little Pony Tales for example. (Shudders) Need I go on? But there'll might be stuff I'm overlooking that might be good but I'm not gonna take that risk. I may be a part of your fanbase now but I'm not gonna go THAT far. Sorry guys, but them's the brakes I'm afraid.

@ Starscream: I only made it about five minutes into the live-action MLP. The horror. The horror.

Eighties cartoons in general, the good ones at least, had some endearing charms to them despite their obvious flaws.

Frankly I don't think the 80s pony cartoons were that much worse then some of the other toy based cartoons at the time, including Transformers, but I can understand not wanting to watch it.
