Yeah, in "May the Best Pet Win" she basically put on her drill instructor hat. It would basically have been that, only she knows what she's talking about.
Hmmm, kind of a mixed result. The darker parts of the picture look great in my opinion, but the brighter areas stand out too much and seem more flat and less textured than the darker parts. Oh, but the little white shines are really good. Basically it's the mane and tail that looks weird. But the color definitely adds a lot to your style, keep it up.

The thing though is that they actually can use the names. In fact, as I understand it, trademark law is primarily governed by actual use, so it shouldn't be any harder to reestablish an existing trademark then to create an entirely new one. In fact, it should be easier. There might be other reasons not to use Firefly, such as it being too generic, but that could easily be changed by switching to Fire Flye or something like that.

Well this has been interesting week for me, denied that I was a Brony, had a game of "No I'm not, Yes you are game" with you lot about this, then I stupidly fall for a reverse psychology trick making me confess I'm a Brony then I come to accept my status all while staying in Scotland doing the other stuff I was there.
