It is kind of a shame that the audience was cheering so heard we couldn't hear Twi and Pinkie's superhero names.

Oh, apparently, someone asked Meghan what Twi and Pinkie's super names were, and apparently they are 'Masked Matter-Horn' and 'Zip' respectively. I kinda heard Zip, but Twi's was new to me.

the Crystal Kingdom is very close to Equestria. Heck, they're connected via royal family so they're technically one country anyway.

According to the third sentence of Twilight Sparkle And The Crystal Heart Spell, the Crystal Empire actually is part of Equestria.

In the 80s cartoon, unicorns could "wink" which was basically teleportation with the crappy restriction of not being able to go through solid surfaces. The practice seems to involve opening a whole through dimensions and opening a entrance back in.

It occurs to me that there has to be some serious Clark Kenting going on if no one noticed that Twilight Sparkle and Masked Matter Horn are the only purple alicorns in the world.

My point is that not even Celestia uses that sort of thing on a regular basis, so it's not even confirmed that alicorns are capable of doing it. And even if they are, Chrysalis seems like the type to put all her points into her disguises and combat magic.

Lesson Zero shows Celestia can teleport. Chrysalis seems to have some kind of "teleport other" spell, even if it seems to have a significant casting time (Twi might have been able to jump out of the radius if she was quick about it). Wouldn't be a huge stretch to think she'd have a self-teleport.

She teleported in Lesson Zero. She just rarely bothers.

My figuring on the Crystal Empire is that it used to be a seperate country, but when it's capital disappeared the country just sort of fell apart. Now the capital is just a kind of semi city-state under Equestria's control, since it wouldn't have been able to survive on it's own after returning.

Due to the big purple flash that teleport made, I'm inclined to say that it's just Twilight teleporting them both into position, rather than Twilight and Rarity teleporting separately. I would think if that were the case, we'd see two flashes in purple and blue.

Of course, it's probably ambiguous enough to be taken either way...
