You don't find many girls' shows where each and every main character has suffered major Sanity Slippage in just the first season.
Other than that, I loved the Continuity Nods, more trolling from Celestia and AJ's Lampshade Hanging of how they don't wear clothes. Prince Blueblood is going to get so much (deserved) hate though.

Did anyone but me notice that there was a pony who looked almost exactly like Lauren Faust's rendition of G1 Firefly who showed up in several scenes? chart for reference The only difference was this one had a horn.
Other than that, all I can say is BEST SEASON FINALE EVER! Fluttershy going insane, the ponies totally crashing the party, an awesome song that would've fit in a Disney movie, and—best of all—Princess Celestia saying "run!" This cements Celestia as probably the most badass horse anywhere.
... Too bad Luna didn't show up though (unless she did and I just missed her).

Okay what? If you look closely right near the sart of the musical number you can see a blue earth pony with blond hair, and an hourglass cuite mark! That's three! Are we going to get a different pony for every one of Doctor Whoove's regenrations? I know this is probably a coincidence but come on guys, stop putting that hourglass cuite mark on just anypony.
For the record, Sorin, the Wonderbolt that bought a pie from Applejack, was voiced by Matt Hill.
