Is that show any good, by the way? I've been thinking about watching it.

Mine, really don't care. They know I'm into it but, just don't get why, simply "Whatever, long as you like it."

@Irish: It's... kind of like MLP actually. But the characters aren't nearly as good imo. And it's not really about anything, most episodes don't have a plot at all. But watching it made me happy for some reason regardless, so I guess... it's alright?

@Irish: It's something like Azumanga Daioh, but with a game/anime-savvy Otaku Surrogate as one of the leads. Not so much drama, but lots of character interaction and cuteness.

Tsukasa getting traumatized by the large isopod crawling out of her seashell that one time was memorable, as was Cousin Yui suddenly inserting an Initial D parody into the mix.

Yeah, mine are pretty good too. They basically weren't even phased by the pony thing, considering they're well aware that I'm such a big fan of animation that they could correctly assume that I'd go to see Whinnie the Pooh in theatres... this was hardly different.

I got a fair bit of prodding from them in my youth too, but it was always good natured, because that's simply the sort of people my parents are. Which has spread, and now my relationship with them is more akin, I think, to good friends that traditional family. Very few parent, I think, will offer your strawberries by ambushing you in the kitchen, shoving one in your face, and screaming Strawberry at the top of their lungs. Few still would then piss themselves laughing when you slap it out of their hand.

Er, strawberries, I meant. I once woke up and went into the kitchen, and the very first thing I experienced was a half-eaten strawberry being shoved into my face by way of offering it.

I've also once had a head of lettuce thrown at me(Think fast, my mum says, and then gets mad when I slap it to the floor mid-flight. I thought fast.)

My kitchen was a dangerous place to grow up, in retrospect.

Those thoughts

The reason why I wanted to make a fanfic for MLP is because I was kind of inspired by Turnabout Storm if anybody's seen that series. Bascially the whole idea of a teenage human boy ending up in a different world from his own is kind of like how Phoenix Wright ended becoming Rainbow Dash's lawyer for her trial. I've decided that Bradley won't something interesting to happen to him in his life but rather he's summoned by Discord to the castle. How's that sound?

@Bluespade's reaction to my parents: It's a long story. Aside from that issue and any other touchy issues, my parents are actually quite rational and actually decently kind. In any case though, I am still acting as though the masquerade hasn't been blown. (Don't want mother to sentence me with incriminating evidence I am a brony now. Fanart I didn't draw thankfully did not fall under that category.)

Anyways, regarding strawberries: I don't mind them too much actually. The thorns are a different can o' worms though. (Then again, nopony loves thorns.)

Except Discord. He'll eat/drink glass with chocolate rain! *cue Choco rain song*
