Yeah, drawing takes forever. Granted it would probably be a lot faster if I colored it with a tablet rather than doing it with a mouse, but even so.

Can anypony give any tips for uploading songs to youtube? I've tried converting an mp3 to wmv so it would work, but it keeps saying the file failed to process.

I like to use http://www.mp32u.net/

You upload a picture and an mp3, and it automatically generates an .avi file that you can either send directly to youtube, or download to your computer to upload later.

And, since today is apparently National Jump To Conclusions Day...

Bleh, my tablet pen broke months ago, so I haven't been able to do anything but pencil sketches. I wanted to replace it for ATG, since it would cut a lot of time out of the process if I didn't have to scan my entries, but I'm not paying $9.50 shipping on a $21 pen, and there's no where else to buy one.

Drawing anything via mouse is a pain in the ass. My sister is somehow better with one than with a tablet an I have no idea how that's possible.

I haven't watched any G3 stuff apart from A Very Minty Christmas (and even then I don't remember anything about that other than I watched it, I don't even know if I even finished it) But I do want to see the remaining Core 7 members and Minty appear in Fi M in some form. (This is why I was happy to see Wisteria appear with Gothic!Pinkie Pie in those recent toys)

Hmm. Interesting that you like the Core Seven as most consider them The Scrappy as they're seen as different characters. And awesome Wysteria's got a toy.

Well I kinda like Toola-Roola, her being an artist and all. And Star Song has a nice color palate and would easily be part of a story including Vinyl Scratch and Octavia. Plus those two could still be salvaged. (I wouldn't expect less from the guys who rescued MLP form the scrappy heap)

Also I think part of the reason the Core 7 were scrappies was the fact that their toys were the only ones that were available from 3.5 to 4. As a rsult they had a lack of diversity (especially in color)

Question. If I combine an mp3 and a picture, will it show up on Youtube. I don't want to be too distracting if its say, pony-related.

@Morning. I've heard from those into the show for its art that G3 has good lighting, backgrounds, and a few good character designs. So some like it for that.

Yeah, I kinda agree with the art part and especially character designs. I find it interesting to see what might happen if a pony like Lily Lightly appeared on the show^note Thought instead of her talent being considered unusual (All the Unicorns' horns glow when using magic, ) It would be considered Useless. (See the above parentheses)

Huh. So a background picture in a song is unavoidable? Guess I need to find something relatively nondistracting to the eye.

You could just make it a black screen or something, but I think that'd be even more distracting. It's nice to put up some image relevant to the song.
