Yeah, I think they're pretty good at adventure. But with Princess Twilight, I think there'll be more continuity in season 4. But again, we've been over this.

But for what its worth, I would have liked more Everfree adventures. Faust's description as a constant source of danger and fascination really has me interested in what could be living in there. Plus the interesting fact that it's been continually expanding for who knows how long.

Eh, it's not such a bad place once you know where the timberwolves' hunting trails are.

And make a habit of carrying sunglasses to protect yourself from cockatrices.

And learn the best places to hide from manticores.

And stock up on poison joke remedy.

And build up the stamina to run for up to half an hour straight.

And learn to tell the difference between the plants that make tea and the almost identical ones that are poisonous.

And learn to recognize the distinct popping noise that preceeds a flame geyser eruption.

But aside from all that, it's not so bad. The trees are actually quite lovely.

Could time between Nightmare Moon rise and Luna return , those 1000 years be refered as Times of Mare in the Moon/ Mare in the Moon Era?

I like to call the 1000 year period of Nightmare Moon's banishment "The Lonely Reign".

Personally, sometimes I feel the fact the show tries to tackle both adventure & slice of life stories actually harms it in a way, or at least makes it harder to describe it to people. In one episode, the girls must climb a dangerous mountain to confront a Tolkien-esque dragon that threatens the land. The very next episode that aired after this is about a slumber party.

On one hand its great it has that variety, but on the other you could argue the show lacks focus at times. I sometimes wonder what it'd be like if the show went full on slice of life or full on adventure.

Damn, I need to get around to watching Venture Bros. I've had it on my list for years.

Get to it!

The show starts really Growing the Beard in season 2, but season 1 is still worth watching because continuity is such a big part of both the character development and the comedy.

I'd go with The Celestial Era myself.

@NES: Well, when I was younger I used to play a game called Cloud Fort. It's similar to a snowball fight only it can be played all year round.

I highly doubt any unicorn (even Twi) would know if humans can use magic.

I volunteer anyone but me for experiments.

Steve, you would not risk yourself. You'd be willing to forfeit the chance of magic to know if humans could have it. I'd definitely take to testing.
