Wait... Afrikaans are whites? I figured they'd be... well, native Africans. For some reason I had assumed that was just a term for an amalgamation of different tribes. Like First Nations to refer to various Canadian native tribes, basically.

If I remember correctly, Afrikaans refers to the original Dutch settlers of South Africa, which is why Afrikaans looks (though I don't know of it sounds), like Dutch.

I've had more than a few nightmares from reading too much Fo E material. So did a friend after checking out PH.

It's funny. I've seen people who don't like the show at all, but love the fanworks.

Ja! Maar hulle het ook familie van Frankryk en Duitsland! Afrikaans is die taal en die mense is Afrikaners, maar hulle is ook "Boere" want hulle het op plase gebly.

Translation: Yes! But they also have family from France and Grmany!Afrikaans is the language and the people are Afrikaners, but they are also called "Boere" becase they lived on farms. (Boer means "farmer")

I had a weird vaguely MLP-related dream last night. I was at this shop, although I don't remember the stock at all, aside from a few FiM plushies that appeared to be made by Beanie Baby. When I took them up to buy, I was told they were illegal and that the shop wouldn't be selling them anymore. So I went out to my car all disappointed and was approached by a few shady-looking dudes who wanted to sell me the illegal plushies.

So we went around to some sort of office and sat down. Then they accused me of being a snitch for the cops or something like that. I pulled a Kit-Kat out of my pocket and bluffed them into thinking I was holding a bomb and that they should let me go. But then it was a bomb and active and exploded. Then I woke up. >.>

I find it funny that Rainbow Dash is now a pet after her comment that Fluttershy wouldn't be good enough to be her's. So somepony needs to draw a picture of Fluttershy looking happy while playing her X Box.

Actually it was Twilight who didn't qualify. I'm not sure we ever found out of Fluttershy would have been in the running.
